Today I have a Stampin Up Trucking Along Christmas Card for you. This is a quick and easy design that can easily be made in batches. Overall I find batch creating makes Christmas cardmaking more productive.

Stampin Up Trucking Along 2023 Christmas card using Joyful Christmas DSP and More Sparkle Specialty Paper.

Basically the hero of this card is that beautiful bright red truck. First it is two step stamped first in Memento Black for the outline and then in Real Red. The tree is stamped in Shaded Spruce, and I have also used Shaded Spruce for the base card and beneath the stitched square. The stitched square and stitched sentiment label are both from Stylish Shapes dies which are probably the most used item in my stamping stash besides my paper trimmer and bone folder.

Measurements and Step by Step Instructions for this Stampin Up Trucking Along Card

Here are the measurements (in both imperial and metric) and steps to make this card.

  • Firstly, I cut the base card in a standard C6 sized card (1/2 an A4 cut vertically and folded in half) or 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ card in Shaded Spruce.
  • Secondly I cut a piece of Joyful Christmas DSP is 10.1cm x 14.5cm or 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ and is adhere it directly to the card front with glue.
  • Next I cut a piece of More Dazzle specialty paper is 12.5cm x 4cm or 4 3/4″ x 1 1/2″. I cut a banner end in the lower end (1.2cm or 1/2″ deep). Then I adhere this directly over the DSP in the centre and middle with glue.
  • Next I cut the Shaded Spruce centre square is 7.5cm or 3″ square and is attach it with Dimensionals.
  • I cut the centre stitched square using the largest square die in the Stylish Shapes dies. However if you don’t have those dies cut a 7cm or 2 3/4″ square. Attach over the other square using Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the truck and punch out with the Trucking Along Punch. Stamp the tree in Shaded Spruce and cut out with paper snips. Attach both to the white square using Dimensionals (leave room for the sentiment).
  • Stamp the sentiment in Shaded Spruce and cut out with the die from Stylish Shapes (or trim to size). Attach to the card with Dimensionals.
  • Finally I add some gold Festive Pearls around the truck as shown.
