Today I have Stampin Up Thoughtful Wishes Bundle friends handmade greeting cards for you. This bundle is gorgeous, especially when you throw in the coordinating Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper.

Here’s a look at the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle.

Here’s the coordinating Thoughtful Journey patterned paper. This is a 6×6″ pack with 48 sheets of 12 different double sided floral scenery designs. This month I am also offering a kit with a 1/4 share of this lovely paper, 10 sheets of coordinating cardstock, a full pack of coordinating embellishments. You can add the stamps, dies or bundle on as an optional extra. Details and registration HERE and registration is open until midnight on Sunday 11th August.

Now let’s look at the two cards I have made using the Stampin Up Thoughtful Wishes Bundle.
Card 1
For my first card I have created a simple fun fold card. This is a great way to show off scenery paper like this one. Here’s what the card looks like closed.

Then it opens up like this. The four cardstock panels are all the same size. I started with as 1/2 A4 sheet (horizontal cut) and scored it on the long edge at 5.25cm and 10.5cm. If you are working with 8 1/2 x 11″ cardstock, start with half a sheet and score at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″.

My base card is Petunia Pop, and I stamped one of the images from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set in Petunia Pop ink onto the white cardstock panel before I adhered it. To embellish the front of the card I used one of the die cuts, and the Petunia Pop Adhesive Backed Pearls from the coordinating embellishment set (see all products using the links at the end of the post). My sentiment is a pre-printed one from the Saying Something Ephemera Pack (details in links below).

Card 2
Next, I created this card using a combination of the Stampin Up Thoughtful Wishes Bundle and Delicate Forest Bundle. I really love that foliage arbour die in the Delicate forest dies. It works particularly well with scenery style patterned paper like the Thoughtful Journey pack.

I have used Mossy Meadow for the base card and the arbour. The die cuts in Old Olive and Petunia Pop, along with some coordinating adhesive pearls and linen thread embellish my card. Finally I stamped the greeting on a piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock which ties the colours together.
