Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes Card Ideas

by | Apr 23, 2025 | Cardmaking, Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! Dies | 0 comments

Today I want to share some ways you can use the Stampin Up Textured Notes bundle, and the Botanical Textures patterned paper pack. These products are both 2025 online exclusive product releases from Stampin’ Up!. Online exclusive releases are happening 6 times a year now and we are probably releasing as many products that way as we are in the catalogues. These can be purchased either online, or directly through me by contacting me. View all the currently available Online Exclusives HERE in my online store.

I have three card ideas to show you using these products today.

Measurements for each Stampin’ Up! Textured Notes Card

Let’s have a look at each of the cards individually.

Card 1

My first card uses the Textured Noted Dies to create a frame (the outside of this frame is 7cm x 10.7cm) and also for the sentiment label (the smallest die). I have used Bubble Bath cardstock in this design. The decorative flora image is fussy cut from the DSP. My card base is 1/2 an A4 sheet (so 14.8cm x 10.5cm). The two patterned paper layers are 10.2cm x 14.5cm, and 12.5 x 8.5cm. The Bubble Bath embellishments are from the Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots.

Card 2

For my second card, I have made a fun fold card. It’s made much easier by using the Textured Noted Dies as layers.

The card opens up like this.

The front of the card folds back onto itself at the halfway mark. Each of the two pieces of DSP for those pieces is 14.5cm x 4.95cm. The DSP piece for the inside of the card is 10.2cm x 14.2cm.

I have die cut two of the rectangles that are 7cm x 10.7cm in Basic White cardstock. The other Bubble Bath die cut Textured Notes rectangle is 8.2cm x 12cm. Then I have just stamped a few of the images in Bubble Bath and Basic Black. The Bubble Bath embellishments are from the Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots.

Card 3

For my last card idea, I have just used the Botanical Textures DSP. White papers with black line images are a great base to add colour with blending brushes and that is what I have done here.

Ink blending on Stampin' Up! Botanical Textures DSP, with Hearts of Elegance dies and Mini Corrugated embossing folder.

I started with a Fresh Freesia card base, and then added a 3cm x 13cm piece of Bubble Bath cardstock which had been embossed with the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. The heart is also die cut from Bubble Bath cardstock and is from the Hearts of Elegance dies.

My DSP piece is 13cm x 5cm and is blended with (from top to bottom) Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight ink. To get good technique with the blending brushes, be sure to start off the edge of the paper and start very lightly with the ink applications. You can see this technique in a video I made when the blending brushes first came out.

Main Stampin’ Up! Products Used Today

The Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper. I love the dark moody tones of this paper. It’s a 12 x12″ double sided pack with 2 each of 6 designs.

The Textured Notes bundle includes the stamp set which includes images coordinating with the patterned paper.

If you have a closer look at the Textured Notes dies. These will be a staple in my craft stash. They are eight rectangle dies with different types of etched patterns around the outside. Perfect for card layers, sentiment labels and even scrapbooking.
