Stampin’ Up! Reindeer Fun Easy Fun Fold Card

by | Sep 30, 2024 | Christmas Cards, Fun or Fancy Fold Cards | 3 comments

Today I have a Stampin Up Reindeer Fun quick fun fold card for you. This was one of the cards from my Christmas Stamp a Stack by mail in September. I also thought I would share it for week 9 of the Art with Heart Heart of Christmas weekly blog hop.

Here’s a look at my card. It’s a very simple 4 panel fun fold card with a belly band. Here it is closed.

All about the Stampin Up Reindeer Fun bundle / Reindeer Days Suite

The Stampin Up Reindeer Fun bundle launched in the 2024 September to December Mini Catalogue.

I particularly like the dies for the bundle. They not only cut out the stamped images, but also have lots of stand alone pieces to add versatility.

The DSP is fun and there are lots of other bits and pieces in the suite which coordinate. You can check out all of these products in the links at the end of the post.

Tips for Making this Card

  • The base card is standard sized (half an A4 or 8.5 x 11″ piece cardstock cut vertically) and the front fold is in half vertically.
  • Each piece of patterned paper (and the Basic White piece for sentiment) is 4.9cm x 15.5cm (or 2″ x 5 3/8″ if you are using the 8.5 x 11″ cardstock).
  • If you don’t have the Spotlight on Nature circle dies, that circle size (the Garden Green one) is 7cm or 2 3/4″. The Crumb Cake punched circle is 6cm or 2 3/8″.
  • The colours I used for the reindeer are (in order from bottom to top) Early Espresso, Basic White, Pecan Pie. I used my light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker to add a little colour to the inside section of the ears.
  • The sentiment is stamped in Real Red, and the tree inside the card is stamped in Garden Green.
  • Red Glimmer Paper adds a nice festive sparkle to the bow.

I hope you like this card and it gives you some ideas for a Christmas card. You could easily substitute any products you have, and put a completely different sentiment and image on the belly band.

A great card Claire. I love the simplicity of the fold and the proportional use of DSP. The cute reindeer on the belly band is gorgeous. I am sure this card was so appreciated in your Stamp A Stack. xxx
