Stampin’ Up! Regal Winter Diagonal Fold Cards

Today I have two Stampin Up Regal Winter fun fold cards for you. These are so simple to make and the fold lends itself to making two cards at a time.

Instructions for Regal Winter Fun Fold Cards

For these cards I have used:

  • A Crumb Cake sheet of A4 cardstock which is scored along the centre both vertically and horizontally. It is thencut then cut diagonally (when the cardstock is in portrait orientation). It doesn’t matter which way you do the diagonal cut. The card will just open and close differently depending which way you go.
  • Two pieces of Regal Winter Designer Series Paper both cut to 10.2cm x 14.5cm. They are then cut on the diagonal while the piece is in portrait orientation. Check which diagonal you need to cut it on to match up with how you cut the cardstock. Otherwise the wrong side of the DSP might show.
  • A decorated label with sentiment. This just gets attached to one of the diagonal pieces so the card can open. For my label I have used the Spotlight on Nature dies (in Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla). The foliage die cuts are from the Thoughtful Wishes dies. These are cut in Crumb Cake and Blackberry Bliss, and are tied together with some Linen Thread. My sentiment is from the Unbounded Love stamp set, and is stamped in Moody Mauve.

I have a couple of additional instructions to help you put these cards together. You can download a free PDF tutorial of this same fun fold (but using different products) HERE.

I also have a reel (a short 60-90 second video) HERE on my Business Facebook page of these projects. This has had the speed increased so I could fit it in the allowed time, but it does give you the general idea.

Details of Card 1

Let’s have a closer look at the cards. For the ‘Just for You’ card, I made the card in portrait orientation. Only adhere the label to the left hand side diagonal piece.

I used the 8.3cm (or 3 1/4″) diameter decorative circle from Spotlight on Nature dies for the Crumb Cake circle. Cut the Very Vanilla using the 7cm diameter decorative circle die from the same die set. As I mentioned earlier, the foliage pieces are from Thoughtful Wishes dies and the sentiment from Unbounded Love stamp set.

Details of Card 2

Card 2 is exactly the same as card 1, except I have turned the card on it’s side. This label is exactly the same as the label on card 1, except it has a different sentiment. I also added some of the coordinating Regal Foiled Adhesive-Backed Dots.
