Today’s handmade share is an elegant easel sympathy card, using the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Garden Suite.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Garden Sympathy Card

About the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Garden Suite

The Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Garden Suite is so beautiful! I can not stop creating with it. You will find it HERE in my online store on page 32-35 of the September to December Mini Catalogue. If you don’t have the mini catalogue, you can view it online HERE, or request a paper copy HERE. In this card I have used the Peace on Earth Dies, and the Peaceful Garden DSP from the suite.

Here’s a look at the 12×12″ Peaceful Garden DSP pack (12 double sided sheets)

and here’s a look at the Peace on Earth Bundle.

Tips for making my Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Garden Sympathy Card

I started with a Secret Sea top folding standard card and then scored the top piece in half horizontally, and folded inwards. I then attached a piece of DSP slightly smaller to each section of the front.

Next I cut a large arch (using the Everyday Arches Dies) in secret Sea cardstock, and two additional ones in neutral pieces of the DSP. The middle one is only slightly smaller, but the lightest one quite a bit smaller as you can see. These are attached together and then just the bottom half on the arch is attached to the bottom section of the scored card front.

I ended up using the Unbounded Love dies with the sentiment from the Peace on Earth stamp set. The Peace on Earth dies were just a little bit large for this easel card. It’s really important to use Dimensionals on the sentiment label as this provides a better ledge for the card front to rest against. The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea ink.

Finally I embellished the card with a die cut Secret Sea dove, a die cut piece of foliage from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper, and some of the Cloud Cover pearls from the 2025-27 InColor Flat Pearls.
