Today we are playing with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens stamp set which will be available from next Wednesday 4th September.
I made this card for week 5 of our Art with Heart Stampin’ Up! Team Heart of Christmas blog hop. I hope you have been enjoying the weekly inspiration. It’s a great way to get started early on Christmas card creating too.

Here’s a look at today’s card.

I’m totally in love with the products I have used to today which are all available in the new 2024 September to December Mini Catalogue commencing next week. I have used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens stamp set, Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper, Painted Trees embossing folder and the Drusy Embellishments. The specialty paper is a 12×12″ pack and included 12 sheets with gold foiling on one side. It has gorgeous coordinating colours of Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Crumb Cake and Basic Beige. Here’s a look at the products.

Tips to Create my Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Evergreens Card
This card is pretty simple to put together, but here are a couple of tips.
I used the largest and second largest Countryside Corners Dies. The largest one is the Pretty Peacock layer and the second largest is the Very Vanilla piece I have stamped on. To create the gold foil layer. I just adhered the Very Vanilla piece onto some gold foil after I had stamped and embossed it, and used my paper trimmer to trim to size on each side. This was super easy to do given they are all straight edges.

For the stamped piece. I stamped the left and right tree in Pretty Peacock first (the right one is a little lower), and then stamped off (stamped first onto a scrap of paper) before stamping the centre tree a little higher than the left tree. I then lined this piece up in the Painted Trees embossing folder so that I could also emboss the centre tree.
This picture shows the dimension better. How gorgeous are those Drusy embellishments? I admit I had no idea what the word ‘drusy’ meant prior to looking it up when these embellishments came out. It means “a rock cavity or surface lined with a crust of projecting crystals”. The pack contains both silver and gold and I thoroughly recommend you getting your hands on some next week!

Next it’s time to move onto the next Art with Heart team member to see what they have been making. Today we are heading over to South Australia to visit the very creative Andrea Sargeant.

If you get lost at any time, hear over to Sharon’s blog. Sharon is coordinating the team blog hop and has the full list of participants each week.

This is just lovely, Claire. That DSP is absolutely gorgeous, and a real “wow” background. I love the way you embossed the centre tree – a beautiful detail.
Such an elegant card Claire, I love the combination of Pretty Peacock with Gold, and the Country Corners Dies makes for more interesting layers. Gorgeous!
Very elegant, Claire. I love the narrow gold foil layer and the tips to create this. It coordinates beautifully with the background SDSP.
Claire your card is beautifully put together with the serene Evergreen trees cropped using the label die. I love that beige/gokd DSP teamed with Pretty Peacock.
