I think the hero in this card is the gorgeous new Damask Designs embossing folder. This is another new product in the 2025 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue which goes live on Tuesday. I used the Inked Embossing Folder Technique to create this panel. I inked the debossed side of the embossing folder with Soft Sea Foam ink and, and then placed a piece of Basic White cardstock inside (measurements in instructions below) and emboss.

Here is a video tutorial of this technique (using a different folder and ink colour as it was made some time ago).

How to make this Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms Card

  • Start with a top folding Soft Sea Foam standard card.
  • Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 8.3 x 12.3cm and use the inked embossing folder technique described above to make the embossed panel with the Damask Designs embossing folder. Once embossed, roughen the edges a little with your fingernails (or edge distressing tool / scissors) and adhere to the Soft Sea Foam card base.
  • The next two layers are pieces of ephemera I had left over from the Heirloom Arrangements kit. You could easily swap the rectangle piece out for a piece of patterned paper 5cm x 8.8cm and the foliage piece for a die cut though.
  • Stamp the large floral image from Stampin’ Up! Gallery Blooms in Basic Grey ink. Colour with Stampin’ Blends using Pretty in Pink light and dark for the flowers, and Soft Sea Foam for the leaves.
  • Die cut the image with the coordinating die from the Gallery Blooms dies. Adhere over the top of the other layers using Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the Sentiment from The Right Words stamp set (also in the 2025 Annual Catalogue and available from May 6th) in Basic Grey onto Basic White cardstock. Trim to size and adhere with Dimensionals.
  • Embellish with a linen thread bow, and sequins from the Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins pack.
