Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest Card

Today I have a card featuring the Stampin Up Delicate Forest bundle. It started as me wanting to use a colour combination I had come up. I really like the card I came up with. It is perfect for someone going through a difficult time.

A handmade greeting card in autumn colours with trees and falling leaves. Made using Stampin Up Delicate Forest stamp set and dies.

Details about the Stampin Up Delicate Forest products.

The Stampin Up Delicate Forest bundle first came out in the 2023 September to December Mini Catalogue, and then carried through to this years Annual Catalogue. It’s no longer available as a bundle, but the stamp set and coordinating dies can be purchased separately.

Here’s the Delicate Forest stamp set. The imagery and sentiments really attracted me to this one. Those sentiments are perfect for anyone needing some love sent their way.

The dies are really great too. I was immediately drawn to that arch made of trees. The label and branch dies are really versatile too. I’ve previously shared a card I made using the arch HERE on my blog.

Basic Beige Colour Combination

Here’s a look at the colour combination I used for this card. Basic Beige was a new core colour introduced in May this year, so I wanted to come up with colour combinations to use with it. Calypso Coral and Pebbled Path worked perfectly.

Instructions for my Stampin’ Up! Delicate Forest card

Portion of a DIY card made using Stampin Up Delicate Forest stamp set.

This card is very easy to create.

  • Start with a Pebbled Path top folding standard sized card.
  • Emboss the front with the Timber embossing folder (or any folder of your choice)
  • Attach a piece of Calypso Coral cardstock to the left side (about 13.5 x 5cm)
  • Cut a piece of Basic Beige cardstock 12.5 x 8.5cm
  • Stamp the trees in Pebbled Path and Calypso Coral, slightly offset in height.
  • Next are the leaves, but stamp off once onto scrap paper before stamping onto the cardstock.
  • Stamp your sentiment onto a scrap of Basic Beige and die cut with the coordinating sized die.
  • Finally, add some of the brass sequins (from the Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins) around the sentiment.
