Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations Card Ideas with Video

by | Dec 13, 2024 | Birthday Cards, Cardmaking, Online Exclusive Product Releases Stampin' Up! | 2 comments

Today I wanted to share some card ideas using the Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations bundle. I also have a video tutorial. This bundle was introduced as an online exclusive in early November and I quickly fell in love with it. I love the imagery, font style and the versatility for use with different celebrations.

An image of three different birthday cards with cake images. Made using Stampin' Up! Cake Celebrations bundle from November 2024 Online Exclusives.

Here’s a look at the bundle. I love all the different ways the cake can be put together, and all extra stamps and dies for decoration.

Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations Video Tutorial

Here’s a video where I showing the bundle, and how I made the Crumb Cake card, and one other. I will also describe how I have made two other combinations in the images and text below the video. You can also find these instructions in PDF format as a four card class in my PDF class and tutorial store.

Card 1

Here are some more details about how I made this Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations card. I wanted to give the cake a floral look, so I used the Kissing technique to touch the inked stamp against a floral stamp before I stamped (you can see this technique in action in a short reel on my Facebook page). The DSP I have used on this one is Nature’s Sweetness. The cardstock and cake ink colour are Bubble Bath and I have also used some Gray Granite and Granny Apple Green. You can view all of the products I have used, using the links at the end of the post.

Card 2

The second Stampin’ Up! Cake Celebrations card I wanted to show you in more detail was this one. I wanted to show how you can over-stamp the cake layers to get a different effect. I have used Bubble Bath as the base layer, and stamped the second layer in Pretty in Pink. My DSP on this one is one of the subtles 6×6″ DSP sheets in Pretty in Pink.

I hope this has given you some ideas for using the Stampin’ Up! Hearts of Elegance dies and bundle. You can find links to all of the products I have used today, at the end of this post. If you have any questions about today’s card, I welcome you to contact me.
