Handmade Anniversary Cards using Stampin’ Up! Always in My Heart

by | Feb 5, 2021 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

Hello stampers. Sneaking in another couple of cards for you before the weekend. These are Anniversary cards, but the first one could also double as a Valentines card. In these colours I think they would be especially suited to a husband or boyfriend, or even congratulating a son on their anniversary. They both use the Stampin’ Up! Always in My Heart bundle. I just love that floral heart die!

Handmade Anniversary Card 1

For my first Handmade Anniversary card, I have used an embossed brick background, and two large hearts. One of the hearts was stamped with the sentiment image from the stamp set first. The hearts were cut from the centre of the floral heart die, but if you don’t have that you could use any lunch heart punch or die. I used a smaller heart and some black and white bakers twine for embellishment.

I popped one of the hearts up on Dimensionals

Handmade Anniversary Card 2

This card uses more elements from the bundle. It’s a 15cm square card with a 14cm square piece of Smoky Slate cardstock embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder.

The red heart is popped up on Dimensionals and the banner in the die set naturally sits above that with the fold lines.

I love the banner piece in this die set. In the stamp set, there is a valentines sentiment stamp that fits perfectly in the banner too. There are other great sentiments suitable for wedding and engagement cards too, which makes this a really versatile bundle.
