Easy Stampin’ Up! Christmas Cards for Heart of Christmas

Hello friends. Today I have three quick and easy Stampin Up Christmas cards for you. These are shared for week 4 of the Art with Heart 2024 Heart of Christmas blog hop.

Why three cards this week? Well once I started playing with the mix and match ephemera packs, the cards came together so quickly!

Three easy Stampin Up Christmas cards for 2024 using pre-printed tags and sentiments.

Recipe for Easy Stampin Up Christmas Cards

For all of these cards, my starting point was the mix and match pre-printed tags and sentiment packs. These are coming in a couple of weeks in the new 2024 Stampin Up September to December Mini Catalogue. I have used the tags for the Season Ephemera Pack, and the Joyful Sayings Ephemera Pack. They are great value as you get 8 sheets in each pack (2 each of 4 designs) for $16.95AUD.

Here’s a look at the Joyful Sayings Pack. The ones on the bottom are actually gold foil but hard to photograph.

Here’s a look at the Tags for the Season Ephemera pack. This pack is super versatile as the tags could be used on Christmas tags, cards and even scrapbook pages.

Easy Stampin Up Christmas Card 1

Let’s have a look at the three cards individually. For this first one you will need the large Christmas tree tag and the large ribbon sentiment from the ephemera packs. My base card is Cherry Cobbler and the patterned paper layer is from Sentimental Christmas DSP pack (coming September 4th). I dug into my retired Christmas ribbon stash for the trim combo I have used on the tag. For a bit more festive sparkle I I used the new Drusy embellishments (also coming on September 4th).

The Christmas tree tag has gold foil baubles on it which you can see better on this image.

Card 2

For my second card, I wanted to use the large foliage tag next to the Christmas card one. I also chose the small ‘joy’ sentiment from Joyful Sayings as it coordinated. I chose a Crumb Cake base, and embossed a second Crumb Cake layer with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder. This is part of the upcoming Reindeer Days suite available September 4th. Secondly I punched the reindeer image out of one of the sheets of the Sentimental Christmas DSP pack. The decorative Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake circles are made using the Spotlight on Nature Dies.

Finally for embellishments I used Tinel Gems Three Pack and some linen thread.

Card 3

My last quick and easy Stampin Up Christmas card uses one of the gold foil edged tags. I also chose the gold foil sentiments from the Joyful Sayings pack to coordinate. My base card is Crumb Cake and my DSP layer is Sentimental Christmas. The stocking image is die cut from the Sentimental Christmas DSP. I added a little extra foliage behind it for more texture. Finally I have added some more Drusy embellishments for some festive glimmer.

The mix and match ephemera packs are so great, aren’t they! Your three cards have such a lovely vintage vibe, Claire. I think my crumb cake heart has to choose card 2 as my fave but they are all wonderful.

Really lovely cards, Claire, and great use of these Euphemera packs. I love the tags, they look amazing and I love the embossed plaid background on card 2 with the cute deer. This is a lovely combination using lots of Crumb Cake.

I love these cards, especially #2. May I ask what size circle punch you used for the DSP?

Thanks for that Janice. The DSP which is cut in a circle was made with a 2 1/2″ circle punch.
