About Claire

Hello, I’m Claire. I live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, but thanks to social media and the internet, I run my online Stampin’ Up! business right throughout Australia.  My family consists of my husband, my two adult sons, our rescue cats Teddy and Ang, plus our White Swiss Shepherd Simba.

I was a scrapbooker on several design teams before I joined Stampin’ Up!. I had begun to experiment more and more with stamping on my scrapbook layouts, so when the opportunity came up I thought I would join just for the discount. Things just grew from there because people love these products.

I now mix memory keeping of all sorts with cardmaking and stamping. I’ve now been a demonstrator for over 19 years, joining the first year Stampin’ Up! came to Australia. I am one of Australia’s top demonstrators, and have consistently ranked for annual awards and earnt Incentive Trips from my first full year with Stampin’ Up! (Direct Sales disclaimer: Fewer than 1% of Stampin’ Up!’s demonstrators worldwide achieve this result ).

I am so grateful to to have met so many Stampin’ Up! employees, demonstrators and customers from around the globe, and now call them dear friends.

With Stampin’ Up! CEO Sara Douglass, when she attended our team event in Melbourne in July 2023 to celebrate 35 years of Stampin’ Up!.

I balance being creative with leading and mentoring one of Australia’s largest and most active Stampin’ Up! teams, the Art With Heart team. We have a great group of ladies Australia wide (some running  business, others just enjoying a personal discount) who chat and support each other in our active online team forum, and get together whenever we can at  events and team days.

I was raised in coutry Western Australia and I love to jump on a plane when I can to visit my Mum and sisters who still live there. It doesn’t take much to make me happy! I love gardening , coffee dates with friends, crafty weekends away, a good road trip and cheering on my sporting teams. I think my favourite days are days at home with the family though 🙂

I’m passionate about continuing to make others happy by helping them to become creative, or to save some money on their craft supplies. My other passion is to help mentor other women who want to try something new or who want to create their own business and earn a little extra on the side.

I hope that by spending time on my blog, I will be able to give you some quality time out and maybe even inspire you to enrich your life through cardmaking, scrapbooking, stamping and other paper-crafts. Most of all, enjoy your time here.
